Father-son Catholic Athletes for Christ retreat planned

The diocesan Catholic Athletes for Christ will host “Bravehearts,” a father-and-son retreat, Jan. 25-26, 2020 in Hotel LBI, Ship Bottom.

Open to fathers with sons in 8th through 12th grade, the retreat will include presentations by Christian singer-songwriter Steve Angrisano, retreat facilitator, and motivational speaker Kevin Reilly, a former Philadelphia Eagles football player and broadcaster. Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., will celebrate Holy Mass on Sunday.

Retreat directors are Father Jason M. Parzynski, CAC chaplain and diocesan vocations director, and Coach John McKenna of Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville, who is the new diocesan CAC moderator.

The cost for the retreat is $225 per father-and-son pair, which includes shared accommodations, meals and a retreat T-shirt and sweatshirt. Fathers with multiple sons pay an additional $50 per son.
