Diocese to live stream the Catholic Schools Mass

On Thursday, Oct. 10, every seat in every pew of St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, Freehold, will be filled with students, educators and volunteers, all gathered from every corner of the Diocese of Trenton for the annual Catholic Schools Mass with Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M.  But those who want to view the Mass, will be able to do so via live video stream on the Diocese’s websites.

Hailing from Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties, some 650 members of the Catholic school community will gather with clergy and others to give thanks for Catholic school education and pray for all those involved in this critical ministry of the Church. Forty-one schools will be represented, and more than a dozen priests will concelebrate.

Catholics and well-wishers throughout the Diocese and beyond will be able to experience the Mass via live video stream, which can be viewed at the bottom of this post, or on www.dioceseoftrenton.org,  www.TrentonMonitor.com and www.catholicschoolshaveitall.org. Live coverage will begin at 10:20 a.m. with the Procession of Schools, in which each attending school’s banner or flag will be carried down the center aisle of the church.

The live stream is available on the home pages of the Diocese’s three websites: www.dioceseoftrenton.org, www.TrentonMonitor.com and www.catholicschoolshaveitall.org. The video will be archived and available for viewing that afternoon, and photos and news reports will be posted to TrentonMonitor.com later in the day.

For questions about the Mass and the video stream, email the Diocese of Trenton’s Office of Communications and Media at dotcomm@dioceseoftrenton.org.
